Student Teaching!!

Oh my goodness!! Student teaching is awesome! I am having the best experience, and I'm so thankful for my teacher and all of the first grade teachers at North Hart :) I just finished up my second week of full time teaching and I have two more weeks of full time to go. I love the kids, and they are teaching me just as much if not more than I am teaching them :) Today I dressed up as "Major Math" the drill sergeant. I introduced the lesson by teaching them a place value song. I got this idea from teachertipster.com. The kids loved it and had a lot of fun!

    Good Luck with your student teaching sounds like you're having a blast! How long is your student teaching session?

    Thank you! I started in January and next week is my last week! It's bittersweet! I taught full time for four weeks and I assisted and observed for the rest of the time. It's been great!
